About Us

Competent individuals in the field of international trade and logistics are needed in a process where international trade activities develop day by day, access to the market becomes easier, but competition increases accordingly. Due to the economic globalization experienced today, all economic activities, especially trade and logistics, have begun to be handled in an international framework. Therefore, the importance given to international trade and logistics processes has increased, and a competitive advantage has begun to be gained with individuals who are trained and equipped in this field.
The students who prefer the department will be given mainly "Foreign Trade Transactions Management", "Foreign Trade Accounting", "International Business", "Logistics Management", "Customs Transactions", "International Finance", "Risk Management" and "Electronic Trade" courses. Individuals who successfully complete the International Trade and Logistics Department will have a good command of foreign trade and logistics processes that deal with critical structures such as storage, customs clearance, packaging and delivery, and will have the competence and equipment to be an expert in their field. After graduation, they will be able to work in the customs, export, import, logistics and purchasing units of private institutions or they will be able to work in public institutions such as the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
Our department, which was established in 2020 as the 13th department of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Süleyman Demirel University, plans to start education in 2023-2024.
