About Us

Labor Economics and Industrial Relations Department started its education life by accepting the first undergraduate students in 2006 within the body of Süleyman Demirel University. The department aims to examine working life in the light of various disciplines of social sciences such as social policy, law, economics, sociology, psychology and management, and to provide education and training in this context.Many subjects, from social protection to unemployment, from unionization to labor peace, from productivity to occupational health and safety, fall within the scope of the department. The main aim of the department is to raise graduates who are needed at national and global level, who are experts in their fields, have the ability to solve problems, have analytical thinking, comprehend human relations, maintain a management order, are open to learning and development, and have the skills to train themselves in every field.
