Social Work Department Organized a Panel on Criminal Justice System in the Context of Children's Rights.

Süleyman Demirel University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Social Work organized a panel called "Criminal Justice System in the Context of Children's Rights" on March 15, 2022, at 10:00 in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Conference Hall B.

Within the scope of the panel, Isparta Chief Public Prosecutor Mustafa Akbulut, Isparta Public Prosecutor Cem Sağdıç, Isparta Legal Support and Victim Services Directorate Social Worker Özden Salman Koku and Isparta Bar Association Child Rights Commission Lawyer Tuğçe Demiralay made informative presentations about interdisciplinary work on the juvenile criminal justice system and social work practices.

Panellists discussed how the juvenile criminal justice system works, how different professionals work interdisciplinary in this process, and what kind of practices are carried out in the context of social work, starting from the point of view of children's rights and the best interests of the child. At the end of the event, the questions of the participants were taken and the event was concluded with the presentation of gifts to the speakers.
