The establishment of our University, named after the 9th President Süleyman Demirel, was officially established on July 11, 1992, with Law No. 3837 published in the Official Gazette No. 21281.

Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, established in 1992; first started its education activities with the departments of Economics, Business Administration and Public Administration. Our faculty, which has completed its thirtieth year, has 13 departments as of today, and educational activities are actively carried out in 12 departments. In addition, there are postgraduate education (master's and doctoral) opportunities within the Institute of Social Sciences in 11 of the 13 departments in our Faculty.

As of the 2023-2024 academic year, the total quota of our faculty departments is 1,110, and there is also a 32-person quota for top student of the school and a 32-person quota for women over the age of 34.
