Within the scope of advanced research and development activities within our department, Isparta Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports under the management of Süleyman Demirel University, "Erasmus +" Strategic Partnership Adults, which includes organizations from Poland, Portugal, Romania and Spain and is supported by the "Turkish National Agency" Training "See My Talent, Not My Disability; The project "Book a Lane for Me" is being carried out. In addition, within the scope of TÜBİTAK 4004, within the framework of the "Our Course is Healthy Life 2" project, our department's faculty members provide training.
Within the scope of the services carried out by the university outside of education and training, applied entrepreneurship trainings organized by İŞKUR are given by the faculty members of our department. In addition, within the framework of the BIGGWind program carried out within the scope of TÜBİTAK - 1512 Techno-enterprise Capital Support Program, trainings are given in various modules by the faculty members of our department.
Interactive Webinar and Social Responsibility Activities Held in the Department
The first of the webinar series was held on 14.02.2021, under the name of “Conversations with Content Producers and New Media-1: Being an Influencer on Instagram”, in which the guests who are active in the field of digital media will share their experiences about the field with the participants. Influencer Yeşim Mutlu, who was active on the instagram social media platform, in the event moderated by Evren Soyuçok on behalf of the business department, directed by Evren Soyuçok; After answering the questions about the Instagram platform, the requirements of being an influencer, and what they experienced in the process, the questions of the online participants, mostly business students, were answered. Thus, it was ensured that the participants had an idea about the renewed media concept.
On 20.02.2021, the second webinar series themed "Content Producers and New Media Conversations-2: Video Content Production on Youtube" was held on social media content production and features of new media structuring. This time the guest of the session moderated by Evren Soyuçok was the youtube content producer Tarık Çayır. The session, in which information about important details about the use of the platform, such as content production for the YouTube platform and the necessary interaction to ensure access to the content, were conveyed, ended with the answers given to the questions asked by the participants about what was told or what they had in mind about the platform. Thus, the intended awareness about the youtube platform, which has an important place in the new media structuring, was achieved.
A webinar event was held on 26.02.2021 under the name of “Livestock Breeding & Suggestions to Investors in Turkey”, where the situation, problems and advantages of the livestock sector in Turkey were discussed. prof. Dr. Nazan Koluman was hosted by the head of the department, Prof. Dr. It was moderated by Mustafa Zihni Tunca. At the event, Prof. Dr. Nazan Koluman gave information about the demands of the livestock sector, investment opportunities in the sector, advantages and disadvantages in the field, and after the briefing, questions about the subject were answered, thus the purpose of introducing the sector and business opportunities in the sector was realized.
The third of the "Content Producers and New Media Conversations" webinar series was held on 28.02. The guest of moderator Evren Soyuçok this time, musician Su Sonia HERRING, shared his impressions and experiences about this change and transformation process of the media, which has undergone a great change and transformation with the widespread use of the internet, and answered questions about the subject.
On 07.03.2021, “Conversations with Creators and New Media -4: Is a Newer Media Possible?” A webinar was organized. Media and communication expert Okan Yüksel was invited as a guest to inform the online participants, mostly business administration students, about the change in the media, the reasons and possible consequences of this change. After the guest Okan Yüksel conveyed information based on his own experience and observations, questions from the participants on the subject were conveyed to the guest by the moderator Evren Soyuçok, and the session was concluded with the answers to the questions.
On 14.03.2021, “Conversations with Content Producers and New Media – 5: How to increase blog literacy?” The fifth of the series of content producers and new media interviews was organized with the title. In this session, Hasan Tandoğan, the guest of the moderator Evren Soyuçok, talked about the process of processing and analyzing the large amount of data and information obtained from digital media. It was emphasized that access to information became easier and therefore data analysis techniques gained importance, and the participants were informed about these techniques.
With the webinar event "Content Producers and New Media – 6: The Importance of Digital Content Production in terms of Media Literacy" dated 21.03.2021, an interview was held by Cansu Aydemir Coşan, emphasizing the importance of digital literacy in terms of coping with possible negativities in the digital world. It has been stated that access to information is no longer a problem, and it is important to be able to make sense of easily accessible information.
