Süleyman Demirel University Implements a Major Social Contribution Project within the Scope of the Ministry of Family and Social Services’ “Vision Document and Action Plan for the Protection and Strengthening of the Family.”
The project titled “Producing and Publishing Original Digital Content on the Theme of the Year of the Family” is being carried out under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Hakan Mehmet Kiriş, a faculty member of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
Within the scope of the project, digital content such as podcasts, vlogs, interviews, and conversations are being prepared, aiming to strengthen the family in the digital age, support intergenerational communication, and increase digital literacy.
Launched during the summer term, the project features themes such as “Intergenerational Interaction,” “Digital Addiction and the Family,” and “Urban Spaces and Generations.”
The produced content is being published on the SDU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences YouTube channel (iibf_sdu).
Additionally, by the end of the project, a workshop will be organized on the covered topics, and the results will be compiled into a report.
Through this initiative, Süleyman Demirel University aims to create a sustainable contribution model that empowers the family institution in digital platforms, promotes conscious media use, and enhances social awareness.
