FEAS 2.0 Events Are Starting!

In line with the changing conditions of higher education worldwide, developments in technological and scientific fields, the growing interest of new generations in higher education, and their expectations from universities, the Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences 2.0 Events Series is being launched this semester.

These events, which were planned within the work of the SDU FEAS Quality Commission, aim to continuously improve the faculty’s educational processes by experimenting with new learning methods and implementing different and innovative practices, while also promoting the dissemination of effective applications across the faculty. Through this format, titled FEAS 2.0, the objectives are to enhance students’ knowledge and experience in the field of economics and administrative sciences, provide an interactive and participatory learning environment, foster collaboration by bringing together fields perceived as close or distant in student projects and similar applications, enrich the learning experience by introducing new dimensions from various disciplines, and put new methods and techniques into practice more extensively.

The series will begin with two different events. First, Prof. Dr. Hakan Mehmet Kiriş will meet with participants under the theme “A Brief Journey Through World History,” followed by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Zihni Tunca with the theme “The Fate of Humanity in the Algorithm Age.” The series will continue with various other activities, including digital programs designed as part of an “e-learning experience.”
