SDU Academic Represents Türkiye in Italy

Research Assistant İsmet Çiçek from the Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations at Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences served as a member of the scientific committee at the “Social Dialogue Summer School” held in Turin, Italy, between September 16–19, 2025.

Organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and hosted at the International Training Centre (ITCILO), the event brought together 60 participants from 15 different countries, including government representatives, social partners, business leaders, and academics.

Representing Türkiye as the only academic participant, Research Assistant Çiçek delivered a presentation highlighting the importance of social dialogue within the framework of Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD). In his talk, he emphasized the constructive role of social dialogue in protecting and promoting human rights.
